Growing up a young lady in the Black community, I learned early on that hair in our community is more than just hair—it’s a crown, a statement, and a source of divinity.
Your hair can lift your spirit, make your day, and complete your look… or do the exact opposite. I’ve had my fair share of “bad hair” days, and those experiences is what pushed me to embark on my personal hair care journey.
Along the way I began braiding hair, which would become a skill that marks my role as The Braider of the Family.
I became the one my loved ones turned to for styles, tips, and hair health remedies. Over time, my passion grew beyond braiding. After experiencing extreme hair loss and thinning due to postpartum symptoms, I wanted to create something lasting— high-quality, natural products that could nourish and strengthen hair, skin, and nails for myself and the people I cared about most.
